Favorite City: Hong Kong. An exciting mix of East & West, as well as nature & city.

Favorite Hotel: Can’t decide! Depends on who I am traveling with and the purpose of the trip. Leading Hotels of the World has a lot of properties I love.

Best Travel Memory: Surprising my mother with a trip to Tahiti- she didn’t realize it until she got off the plane in Tahiti!

I have been working in the travel industry for over 10 years. I traveled with my family growing up, but really got the travel bug while in college. I tried to “get it out of my system” before going to medical school, but decided to make a career of it instead! I worked as a tour guide throughout the US (including Hawaii!) and also booked airline tickets for clients using frequent flyer points. I started a tour company, Carpe Mundo, that specializes in small group tours to Europe. Guiding customers through some of the most beautiful parts of Europe gave me in depth knowledge of a lot of amazing places. This knowledge enabled me to work for American Express as a Travel Insider (destination specialist) for Croatia and Iceland- I was the world’s first Travel Insider for both of these incredible destinations. After working for American Express I started my own travel agency, Unbound Travel. I have traveled to all seven continents and to over 75 countries; I love using my extensive knowledge and connections to enable incredible experiences for clients while helping them get the most for their money.
